US guns in Mexico! Panic! Ban them!

As I have mentioned, this is nothing more than a scare campaign designed to increase support for banning guns. Not only that, the "90%" figure is a lie.
There's just one problem with the 90 percent "statistic" and it's a big one

It's not the first time the government lied. Remember how the bailout last fall ended up with the $700 billion being pretty much just a number than an actual total? Oh yeah, and Obama saying the American public would have five days to review bills before he signed them; I think he meant "five minutes."

And if they "banned" guns, the drug cartels will just get the inventory on the black market, or buy weapons from the Russkies or the Chinese.

Meanwhile, law abiding Americans will be unable to defend themselves.

I pretty well figured several months ago that if the statement is from anyone 1) associated with the Obama administration, or 2) from the MSM reporting on the Obama administration, it's a lie. Period. No questions. If they say the sky is blue, I'm going to look up to make sure we even still have a sky (or did they outlaw it, demonize it, tax it to death, or outright steal it while I was sleeping?).
