I've always said that if all the Palis wanted was a patch of land to call their own, this would have ended decades ago. Israel has contorted itself like a pretzel over and over to give into whatever stupid concession the Europeans and the U.S. State Department thinks will Finally Bring Peace and it gets nothing but more rockets dumped in its backyard and more splodeydopes in return. What have the Palis conceded in all of this time? What compromise has Hamas or the PLO actually made over the years? Not a one. At most they promise things and never live up to them (see the definition of "hudna").

The Palis want only one thing: Israel's destruction. They won't give up until they overrun every city, village, and town in Israel and chuck every Jew into the sea or into the ground. Or until their death cult is utterly crushed and the only way they can survive is to accept Israel's existence.

I didn't look it up, but I'm guessing that the definition of "hudna" is "lying cocksuckers".

Pretty much! It's an Arabic term for pretending you're accepting a truce when what you're really doing is waiting and preparing to go back into battle when the time is right. Faking out non-believers is just fine under Islam.

The Israeli defense minister said a couple of profound things on Fox News this afternoon.

"I've asked American officials what they would do if Mexico were shelling San Diego from Tijuana and I told them they'd be dealing with them the same way we are."

"Asking us to declare a ceasefire with these guys would be like asking the United States to declare a ceasefire with Al Qaida."

Um, yeah. Pretty much.
