"I wouldn't use her mouth to dispense of my used tampons. "

WIN!

I'd love to steal that, but I can't imagine any appropriate context!

I think this is every bit as scandalous as Dan Rather's fake documents about Bush's National Guard service. And if it's true, Couric should be fired or at least taken off the anchor desk and given fluff pieces to cover. Which is all she's fit for anyway.

There's a reason why Ann Coulter called Katie Couric the Eva Braun of t.v. journalism.

Couric has been nothing but a shill when she's not giggling like a fool or screwing her way into her next career promotion. This same "journalist" sat there with a straight face as Joe Biden talked about FDR's famous t.v. speech on the Depression in 1929.

Or maybe she didn't know it was a gaffe either.

the only reason why her questions were such a big deal is because of the way Palin answered them.. or should I say the way she DIDNT answer them.

Palin has problems with Roe v. Wade; we know that. Couric was quizzing her to show "another" amendment to the constitution which she might have issues with. I have to wonder if this kind of questioning is real journalism.

As I recall, Palin found it hard to come up with one, but instead gave more general answers regarding the importance of state's rights.

Consider it plausible that Palin fundamentally respects our Constitution the way it is, which is something we unfortunately can't say with certainty about the man who is going to stand up before all Americans on Jan. 20th and swear to protect, preserve and defend it. :/

Maybe you didn't see these but Couric also interviewed Cindy Mccain and John Mccain and when she interviewed them she asked them the SAME question about Roe v Wade.

The only reason why she "quizzed" Palin was because when Palin was saying that she was for overturning Roe v Wade she said that there were lots of other cases that the courts had made that you could overturn as well. I would have asked what other cases too.

I did see it, and she didn't say that at all. She was asked directly by Katie Couric, "What other Supreme Court decisions do you disagree with." - It's funny, Couric implied through this question that there should be others.

That's the interview I'm talking about. Maybe you are thinking of some other interview, but this is the one where she basically prods Palin to come up with a Supreme Court decision that she might disagree with. Palin may fundamentally agree with our constitution making an answer to that specific question rather difficult to answer.
