Huckabee tops McCain in Kansas

Because McCain is inevitable!
Feb. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Mike Huckabee swept to victory in the Kansas Republican presidential caucuses, beating his party's presumptive nominee John McCain by a margin of almost 3-1.

I hate to think "anyone but McCain" is ending up as "I guess that means Huckabee".

I'm boggled as to why people are surprised about Huckabee winning Kansas. I think several large fundie/charismatic ministries are headquartered there, and certainly plenty of evangelicals who will pull the lever for him because they see him as a kindred spirit.

No matter who gets the nod (Prez and VP), I still think it's the Democrats' to lose.

That's starting to sound like a punchline.

Well I start supporting Paul for the nomination once Huckabee gives up.

(Darn straight anyone but McCain.)

Romney got 14% of the votes in our caucus yesterday. Does that mean that those who voted for him were voting against McCain/Huckabee/Paul, or simply that they haven't been paying attention?

Heh! Who freakin' knows!
