i'm under the impression that the colors aren't going to switch anymore, because the media decided to start labeling things and they stuck for once.

also, the dems have deemed other things "torture" - like ... sitting in a too cold room and forced to listen to the red hot chili peppers.
as i've said before, if that's torture then i would like to file charges against almost every guy i dated in the 90s, please!

You know, how are we supposed to interrogate people willing to cut other people's heads off with a dull, rusty knife and expect to get any information out of them unless we're at least A LITTLE threatening? I'm not advocating real torture, but you know what, if someone needs to get slammed into the wall a few times, I'm not going to say we shouldn't be doing that.

I was just talking about this on the phone with my dad. He and I are pretty much in agreement that had World War II have been fought during this era, it's possible we wouldn't have won, or certainly, it would have taken 10 times as long to win it.
