Anti-Thompson website linked to Romney consultant

It will take more than dirty tricks to stop the Thompson campaign.
Nowhere on the site does it indicate who is responsible for it. But a series of inquiries leads directly to the website of Under the Power Lines, the political consulting firm of Warren Tompkins, Romney's lead consultant in South Carolina.

Any candidate who stoops to play dirty tricks like that instantly looses my support, period. I thought the GOP was better than that, Mitt.

Dirty tricks that work in local campaigns don't work in international campaigns.
You're going to see just how those people won there local elections because that is exactly how they'll run in national elections.

He did indeed do the right thing but he also owed Fred an apology. I think Mitt handled it very well and hopefully the people responsible are no longer on the campaign.

(I would be just as disappointed if someone on Fred's team did something like this.)

I hope so too. And even though I'm a Fred supporter, if anyone working for him did this, I hope that he/she would be shown the door, post-haste. There's no need for that crap, and it only gives the Dems another opportunity to say, "See? They do it!" to justify their own actions.
