I've always been in favor of giving land to the Palestinians as long as they were required to try and govern it themselves. As predicted, the rival groups spend more time killing each other to gain power than trying to kill innocent people.

I don't really see how this is fun...? I mean yes, them killing each other is better than them killing innocent people, but that doesn't mean it's still positive. Human beings are dying, and though they follow a misguided ideology they still have families and hopes and fears, you know?

Yes, well, unfortunately, words have assigned meanings. And I can think of about a hundred other words with more relevant meanings to describe the situation in "Palestine."

I'm sure he'll explain himself if he feels like it.

There were a lot of individuals on both sides of that conflict who were just as evil as Hitler and Stalin. The German SS units in particular. The Soviet army managed to equal them in evil when they raped and pillaged their way across Eastern Europe in 1944 and 1945.
