The excuse train: more nonsense from Foley

Oct 04, 2006 16:32

Don't you wish he had just stopped at the McGreevey-like "I'm a gay man...*sob*" excuse?

Now Foley is blaming abuse at the hand of priests when he was a boy.

Gosh, is the "addicted to pr0n" excuse far behind?

Also: word is Democrats knew of this months ago. Is Pelosi going to resign?

I think we should just kick all of their stupid asses out of office. Start from scratch. That would make things work much better. Let whomever gets into office know they are on notice.

I wouldn't mind having a "jury pool" setup. I'm sure a couple of thousand random Americans can do a better job.

I can think of one or two who have done decent, but they're tainted, by the rest.

The day that Pelosi resigns is the day I throw a party.

I don't care what excuses the dude makes; he should not be doing what he was doing. x_x

For once, I agree with blindman738; kick everyone out and start over from scratch.

IMO Foley is milking the "forgiveness" groups. Drug/alcohol abusers, abuse victims...and as I mentioned, the pr0n can't be far behind.

It's a shield for him to hide behind. Checking into a rehab clinic also conveniently keeps him away from the press (just as the Kennedy clan). Considering how fast he's going through excuses, I figure by week's end he'll be claiming he was "possessed" or aliens made him do it.

Lets not forget, these were intelligent young men on the other end of Foley Communications. The real problem is that we elected such a juvenile congress man. The maturity factor of the suposed "victims" is obviously a higher level than the congressman.

And now, The "victims" are on the television attempting to make political clout for themselves. I feel no pity.

Thank you,
