You do realize they'll spin this their way any time now.

"It was, ummm, Hillary and Obama, they fixed the deficit. Not Bush."

lol

You know, back in 1992 Democrats claimed that the improving economy (in 1992) was due to the fact that people knew Clinton would be elected.

Nothing would surprise me!

Wait, no I got it.

It's because of Hurricane Katrina, all those people suffering (and Bush controlled the weather and did it on purpose) caused the deficit to fall.

Hi by the way, I added you a while ago.

That's great and all but when you say "Tax cuts work" all a democrat hears is "blah blah blah." They can't help it, they were born that way (we should give them some "government money" because of it).

Increased revenues are all good. Now we need to cut the spending.

I agree. Tax cuts are only part of the deal. Cutting spending would really make the economy rock and roll.

So, wait, you pass tax cuts and the economy expands and people make more money and more people have jobs and the deficits come down...well I guess all I have left to do is whine that it "just started working".

Wave those hands faster, you might just get airborn.

It seems that someone made a valid point and you didn't like it. The economy almost always grows, it's not a reflection of the quality of life for the average citizen. Saying that we have "more jobs" is a sick joke because they're mostly burger flipping jobs. If the tax cuts work, why are businesses cutting hundreds of thousands of professional jobs and slashing benefits? This is but a single year which is not complete whose statistics are being presented by the same people who instituted the tax cuts.

If you want a case study of trickle-down economics, why don't you study Reagan and Bush Sr.?
