Doesn't CNN know that subliminal advertising is illegal?

Didn't they put up images of President and Mrs. Bush with alt tags like "asshole"?

Yes, yes they did.

"Innocent mistake", my X!

I should add that an X that size is not normal. It's possable of course. But it's not something that happends by accadentally bumping the keyboard. Besides the X he'd have to commit the change.

It also looks like some text was added below the X. I'll look at it more closely on my Box at home once things are fixed.

"Transition begins after 5 frames of black" anonymous November 22 2005, 11:55:45 UTC
Conspiracy theorists tend to project their paranoia onto the world around them as a way of confirming that their anxiety is normal and justified. Eventually it becomes a coping mechanism that perpetuates the paranoia by providing a simple release from the anxiety which never supplants the anxiety causing it.

This is why conspiracy theorists only grow in their conviction over time without ever finding proof, while compiling mountains of evidence of the conspiracy against them. They have to rewrite events in order to fit them as evidence into the theorist's cosmology, leading to a sloppy analysis of political events that ignores contrary information and highlights information that can be twisted to confirm the conspiracy theorist's original position.

It's not like a psychosis or anything, normal people are susceptible to that kind of neurosis. You've sorta made a science out of it.http://thedanreport.blogspot.com/2005/11/cheney-x-revealed.

Well, thanks for explaining your posting rational.

Here are some more examples of MSM manipulation for you to wave your hands at:

Now, how do you explain the fact that the "X" was at less than 30fps?

Convenient that it was an "X" during the malfuction.

actually "X" is the industry code meaning "mix" (which is a transition - there could also have been "C" cut or "V" fade) (or a couple of others that don't involve letters at all)

this looks like a graphics machine going wrong, whilst being fed to air. that, or a screw up leading to the machine being fed to air. pretty amusing; but doubtful that it was done on purpose. (it's harder to make it happen deliberately - especially through a live news gallery - the best mistakes always happen that way)

When did CNN put "A**hole" in an alt tag?

Re: Not surprised reality_hammer November 22 2005, 19:56:06 UTC
Right after the election victory in 2004. The initial images put of up the President and his wife had alt tags that contained the word "asshole" (and other invectives) and the initial file name had the word "asshole" as well.

Well, I knew the Media picture was bad, but that's just pathetic. :(

While it is possible, I feel it is unlikely that this was deliberate, despite the "asshole" tags.

I don't think it was orchestrated "from the top". Like other MSM media manipulations I would suspect low to mid-level people.
