Well, that is the claim made by the likes of Hillary Clinton (I told you she is already running for President as a conservative!) and Howard Dean.

Wait wait wait... Since when are abortions a measure of the effectiveness of the head of the Federal Executive Branch?

That's not the target of this particular club. It is being used to beat up the President and the Republican Party among religious conservatives, especially the socially conservative Democrats who side with President Bush on issues like abortion.
