I was pretty much behind either canidate in New Hampshire as it seems either one is a viable canidate to hold that seat. However I cannot get behind Christine O'Donnell

She can't be worse than a moderate Republican who would vote for Obamacare, elimination of tax cuts and yet more expansion of government power.

She is a much better conservative than Mike Castle. However what are her qualifications? She has never held office and she has not served in any sort of leadership position in a company. She is listed as a "Marketing Consultant ( ... )

Personally, I find the lack of a political career to be a positive.

What I'm most concerned about is how will she vote? Will she read bills, do research and listen to her constituents? Will she lead and promote policies that help America?

I'm not sure why you would compare her to Hillary. Hillary was involved in politics her entire life, just not as a candidate. At the time I said pointing out her carpetbagging for running in New York instead of Arkansas or Illinois wasn't going to work because Democrats in New York (City) just don't care and the Republicans would end up doing something similar eventually (as they did in Illinois, ironically).

There's a vast shortage of common sense in Washington. I'd rather elect 535 people with great common sense than 535 career politicians who are mostly concerned with the trappings of power.

In my office, where most people are fairly radical Leftists, one person was paranoidly ranting about how, "when Sarah Palin becomes President" (fairly optimistic on her prospects, if you ask me) it will be "just like Nazi Germany," with "camps" being opened for illegal immigrants which will ultimately be used to imprison anyone the regime doesn't like. (And yes, I was aware of and pointed out the ways in which such a situation would not be "just like Nazi Germany.")

Interestingly, the radical Left seems to have abandoned Obama, deciding that he's just a tool of the Secret Masters. I heard nothing but disappointment regarding him from the leftists.

2010 and 2012 are going to be Very Good Years for the GOP. :)

I never understood why people think the Right are going to put everyone in camps (especially direct Nazi analogies, as the Left would happily kill every Jew in Israel to satisfy their Islamist friends) when it's overwhelmingly leftist governments who lock up the opposition.

Not to mention why pay for camps for illegals when we could just dump them on their side of the border and make them Mexico's problem? Our problem on the Right is our people are often TOO nice, if anything.

The new spin from the radical left is that Obama is at best a "blue dog" and at worst "just like a Republican".

Can you believe it?

It's still all Bush's fault, of course, but now Obama is "part of the problem".
