Obama administration again demonstrates a callous disregard for the rule of law

Jul 06, 2010 15:36

Once again giving the rule of law the middle finger, the Obama administration today sued the state of Arizona for attempting to enforce laws that the Obama administration refuses to.
The lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Phoenix argues that Arizona's law requiring state and local police to question and possibly arrest illegal immigrants ( Read more... )

blocking enforcement of laws on the books ...

blocking ready remediation of some of the oil damage ...

looks like the obama administration is obstructionist in both culture and nature.

You know, it's pretty clear that the Obama administration is pursuing a vendetta not just against the people and political structure of our country, but also, literally, the physical makeup of our country, as well. There's a relentless determination in that administration to destroy everything we Americans love about our country -- and that includes our lands, our seas, our mountains, everything. You don't believe me? Take a look at this:

They want that ocean dead -- and then it's on to murder the Atlantic and the Pacific and the Caribbean, as well.

the still picture shows smoke plums coming from small spots on the water.

Doesn't lead me to believe that image is related to BP's mess.

Really? Why not? Those oil fires are on the water -- and, like water, oil is a liquid. Even minor wave action will break it up into smaller and smaller pieces, and the fire doesn't keep that from happening. Yeah, I know. You're afraid. It's the end of the world. The ninth largest body of water in the world is dying, irreversibly. And you don't want to believe it. Too bad. The rest of us are scared, too. So what? Some really stupid bastards set the laws of physics and chemistry in motion there, and this is what's happened, and it turns out that the damage it has caused and will caused is too big for human beings to stop, and it's going to affect the Atlantic and the Caribbean, too, and then every ocean they connect with. And no, not all the hot air generated by Al Gore and Obama and the rest of the Democrats and BP can undo it or call a halt to it.

I'm not a fundamentalist. I don't think God did this. But I've been trying to put my affairs in order, spiritually and otherwise, because, God or no God, we're facing

First, a disclaimer - I am not, nor claim to be, a legal scholar of any stripe or qualification. However, I do have common sense, which is more than I can say for the current occupant of the White House.

The feds are suing Arizona for codifying existing US law, and enforcing it? Good! If common sense prevails in the courts (never a sure thing, I know), the feds will lose, and be severely embarrassed (and hopefully, severely chastised in the process), showing even more people what type of person the current occupant of the White House is.

The Obama administration is marking their territory with this. Think of it as a secular version of the Ground Zero Mosque: A way of thumbing their nose at the people of these United States and going "Neener-neener-neener!" Yes, we'd better make the November elections a vendetta, all right.
