I've got 4 D's here in AZ who failed to respond to their constituents' wishes. You can bet I'll be doing what I can against each of their reelection efforts.

I would like a detailed, non-hyperbolic essay on how this equals this. Thank you kindly.

I've explained it before and I don't expect you'll admit it this time around.

The government forces you to buy something. You refuse. The government fines you. You refuse to pay. The government puts you in jail. If you ever decide to pay the government sucks the money from your bank account (plus interest, plus penalties). You work for the government, they decide how much money you can have after they take their share. Of course they'll provide "free health care" and I'm sure free housing and food are on the way...just like in plantation days!

But you feel secure up in the owner's house, don't you?

Surprisingly enough, the one person who has been deemed the most vulnerable here in Washington State is Sen. Patty Murray - she who used to be considered un-seatable. She just might really be on her way out.

The one I'd really like to see get the boot (partly because I'm in his district) is Rep. Jim "Congressman-for-life" McDermott. I won't be holding my breath on that one, though.

It's so frustrating living in Chicago ... I have voted against EVERY one of the bastards every time, and it does no good. It's almost laughable to consider ringing up my Congressman's office (Danny Davis, from the not-as-egregiously-Gerrymandered-as-others-up-here, but still Gerrymandered 7th district) to voice my opinion, because my opinion doesn't matter ... let alone trying to reach out to those sleazebags in the Senate.

I know what you're dealing with. I had to put up with Tony Hall for decades before the Republicans were able to put in realistic districts. I was part of the "token suburbs" they added to the Dayton district to make it not quite 90% Democrat. :P
