MSNBC claims the global warming hoax is a "principle of physics"!

Yes, you read that correctly. The world's biggest collection of useful fools (MSNBC) took a statement of Al Gore (one of the biggest useful fools overall) that CO2 (I'm assuming he means atmospheric) traps heat is "a principle in physics". MSNBC decided that the statement needed to be conflated to the global warming hoax overall:
Palin also took ( Read more... )

hypocrisy, scandals, climate, science, junk science, al gore, big lie, global warming hoax, church of climate change, msnbc

Actually, Climategate does not prove anthropogenic global warming to be a hoax.

What it does prove is that at least some scientists are willing to lie to argue for global warming, which means that we need to be careful about the uncritical acceptance of evidence for global warming.

It is, however, true that carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas, increasing the retention of heat by a planet. This is known physics. There is a lot of proof of this, both from direct experiments and from planetological observations (not only of Earth, but also Venus and Mars).

What is at issue is not this, but rather the extent to which CO2 levels on Earth are manmade, and the extent to which the excess contributed by human action affects the climate.
