I know exactly what you mean. I, too, was disappointed by the epilogue. Also, it didn't make sense to me because since Harry was Lupin and Tonks' son's godfather, doesn't that mean he would have raised him? I feel like none of that really came across in the epilogue. Like, the aftermath of the battle and how it had changed them. But then again, once I reached the age of 12 the books started disappointing me anyways.
Also, does this mean you wrote more fic? Because you've always been my favorite author and JotH and all the associated AU fics were always my favorites. I've always been of the camp that sometimes fic (especially when written by people who know how to write) is sometimes better than the actual written work, especially in the case of Harry Potter.

Oh, yeah, sorry!! I should have actually SAID this in the entry... what a concept. :P This refers to Nineteen Years Later... the Truth, which is my version of what actually happened before, during, and after the epilogue. :) It's on FIA, at:
