And the doll ornament is based off one of my ornaments. It's as old as I am, but they no doubt still make that style. When we were kids it creeped my little sister out - didn't figure Dean would like it either ;)

This is a great little story! Thank you for sharing it. I'm currently having a discussion*fixin' ta be a lovefightbetweenfriends,LOL* with Phoe about Dean and pie and him possibly having a PieKink. This story in a way supports my theory.

Your story is like a sweet sugar Christmas cookie and I'm enjoying some hot choccy as I read it. Now since we all know you can never eat just one cookie, it needs a companion piece.

Thank you! I’m so glad you enjoyed it. I don’t want to gang up on Phoe, but I’d certainly put my vote in for PieKink. The cookies here, were of course based off Dean and pie and the thought that it is more than he just thinks pie / cookies are yummy - that it is a deeper emotional connection to his mom.

This story would go good with hot chocolate...of course most things do. Companion piece with boys making gingerbread cookies - trying to be manly but being all emotional like...so on it.

I’m so glad to hear that worked! Dean has those little ways of saying things that he can pass off as just a simple statement, when he really has so much more he’s saying behind it. He might think he’s being smooth, but of course Sam’s perceptive enough to pick up on it.

I’m totally there with you on the angst! And Phoe needs to get her pretty little butt over here. I’ve somehow not had the pleasure of meeting her (I’m still pretty new to LJ) and I so love a good dungeon ;)
