With the recent 4th of July celebrations, suddenly one finds a growing interest among people to know where their roots lie. People have taken pains to delve into their family annals in their search of a sense of belonging. There’s not a shadow of doubt that the Declaration of Independence is crucial to a full understanding of who we are as a people. So is the American Revolution and all those events that led up to it. If you’re really interested in taking a history lesson that is as thought-provoking as it is informative, then Shmoop is a good place to start.
