I wish I knew the answer. I've started about 2 dozen stories... 3 dozen if you count original fic, and when I feel the need to finish then I do, if not, then I just act like a turd and never finish it.

I would say, at least write down a summary of them so you don't forget. There are some I had ideas for, but they've been pushed out by new bunnies and I wish I could remember them. *sigh*
