NO BOOKS will ever be as good as the ones I read when I was 12 years old. I just realized that recently.

A book that you read many times: Little Women by Louisa May Alcott

A book that made you laugh: Don't Care High by Gordan Korman

A book that made you cry: The Outsiders by S. E. Hinton

I haven't done my list yet, but there will definately be some kids books on there. Most of my 6favourite comfort re-reads are Children's or YA novels, so i totally agree with you.

A LOT of Gordon Korman's books are excellent. My favourite book still remains (so far) to be his "I Want To Go Home", which I originally had read to me in GRADE 2 when I was 7! Then I found a copy of it when I was between the ages of 10 and 12 at a yard-sale, and I still re-read it from time to time. He is excellent.

Also, I agree that the Boxcar Children was another good series.
