Canon Rebel XT. Finally. And so appropriate in a time of monetary peril...
I just secured a part time job editing wedding photos, so all the photo money I make for the next month or two will go towards paying off this bad boy.

Isn't it great? I mean 7 autofocus points? Amazing.
I work in Bethesda. I do some really boring technical writing.
But it's writing, and it's good money.

It's kind of ridiculous though. It's one of those areas that's kind of TOO clean and beautiful. And everyone wears suits. But the commute isn't so bad. Jason works at the Discovery Channel in the same area, so we drive together :)

Ugh, I can't wait until we get a DSLR, although we're looking seriously at the Pentax K10D, which seems to have a lot of bang for its buck. What made you choose the Rebel?

I had just read so many great reviews of it. The K10D is a few hundred more than the Rebel XT, but definitely has some great features. I guess it just depends on what you're using it for.
