Went to see Spiderman on Saturday evening.  I wasn't too impressed - it was alright, but way too long (I thought it was the end about 3 times before it actually finished).  Considering the first one was soooo good, I was a little disappointed

I re-read The Lies of Locke Lamora again and again again. 8 Desert Island Books... that's hard.

1) The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch
2) The Tale of the Body Thief by Anne Rice
3) Anne of the Island by LM Montgomery
4) The Once & Future King by TH White
5) Chocky by John Wyndham
6) Northern Lights by Philip Pullman
7) American Gods by Neil Gaiman
8) One of the Chalet School books by Elinor M Brent-Dyer, whichever came to hand first (but preferably one that doesn't star Mary-Lou Trelawney)
