Here I am, watching my first episode of Buzzcocks from this series (I know, I know, I'm sorry, but I just can't get into it any more), and WHY HAS NOBODY TOLD ME THEY CHANGED THE TITLES? What is this load of rubbish CGI? I miss the 'tumbling records' from Simon's era, and even the 'sweaty gig' from Mark Lamarr's tenure. This is horrible. Make ( Read more... )

Ta very much! I do usually wait for the Uncut version to go up somewhere, but watching both versions is no hardship anyway. ;)

The episode of Buzzcocks I watched last night featured Alice Cooper as chair, and he was amazing. The dropped jaws (particularly from Noel of the Boosh) at Alice's recollection of the time he was summoned to meet Elvis, were pretty impressive. Alice rocks! :)))

Glad you enjoyed it, I think having a host you like makes all the difference. I don't know though, I'm not a Noel Fielding fan at all. :(

Basically they just seemed to me to be reporting that in X culture ( I don't recall which one) they find it embarassing.

As soon as I watched that section, I knew there would be people offended by it, even though, as you say, they were only reporting what happens somewhere in the world. Meh.
