[Wishbone is sleeping peacefully in the apartment he shared with Giles and the others when he is awaken suddenly by a strange noise. Feeling instinctively uneasy, Wishbone sits up and trots over to the door. The sounds get louder and louder, and Wishbone runs and dives under the couch where he sometimes keeps his journal. He turns it quickly on and

[Giles is still very much awake, after the events of the day. Awake, and with a mildly upset stomach. Too much ice cream.

So he hears Wishbone's message from his room. The ex-Watcher grabs his journal from the bedside table.] Wishbone? What on...

[He yelps as the door is loudly broken in. And he knows that sound, and he knows the heavy footsteps that stomp slowly but inexorably across the floor. And he grabs the battleax from the wall and darts out into the hall just in time to see one droid picking up the dog by the scruff.]

Leave him alone!

[He'll fight. He'll do his best. It won't do any good, but he'll try, as always.]

[The droid carrying Wishbone pauses at Giles' sudden appearance, but continues on after a moment. Wishbone barks and twists in its grasp as he helplessly watches another droid approach Giles.

He doesn't want to be taken by the big scary robots, but he doesn't want Giles to hurt himself either!]

[Giles is going to quickly duck under and around the droid between him and the dog and take a wind up, followed by a wide swing and the joints of its knees. A shower of sparks greets his efforts, although the damage remains to be seen.]
