Heh...only part of a much, *much* longer story. I posted it because what I'd been writing above reminded me of something I'd had one of my characters say in that excerpt.
I don't actually think I'm bringing any of my writing with me tomorrow; I'll probably be moderating the discussions, and it's more important for everyone else's stuff to get read. But hopefully in a month or so the writing groups that we start tomorrow will be self-sufficient and I'll get to join a group of my own.
