everything is going to work out; you will end up where you are supposed to be and life will be wonderful. take a deep breath, make yourself some tea, and take at least an hour to read or write something that makes you happy.

i've been meaning to tell you this for a few days, so here i go: i really admire you. you are a smart, creative, motivated, and altogether beautiful human being. ♥

*hugs* You know, you're a smart, creative, motivated, and beautiful human being too. I'll do something awesome for an hour if you will! :) (Actually, I'm about to go work on my thesis for an hour and pretend that I enjoy it -- but who knows, if I pretend hard enough I'll probably start liking it! And I will definitely like being done with it.)

All the stress is probably due to understanding the grad school acceptance system better than you understood the undergrad acceptances. Ignorance is bliss, but knowledge is power, so at least you're powerful while stressed out.

PS I too have often wished that I could wake up from a living coma, my unconscious mind taking over normal daily function while my consciousness hibernates and time travels into a world where, say, the Song of Ice and Fire series has been completed. You are not alone.

Hah! If you figure out that suspended consciousness thing, let me know. (Not gonna lie, that is why I stopped reading Song of Ice and Fire after the second book -- I'm going to wait until I can have them all!)
