I spent the first two thirds of my day working on an essay for my Dickens class that I don't want to have to look at ever again, even though I have no choice but to do so. But then I went out to dinner with friends and went to see The Real Thing at the Old Vic and it was amazing and here I am thinking that it's going to be cool enough to meet Toby

OH MY GOD I KNOW. I didn't see him go into the backstage bit at first, I just saw a couple from behind and then I was waiting outside and someone was like, "Oh, Toby Stephens [the guy I was initially there to see] might be a little while in coming out, his pal Chris Eccleston just went in to say hello," and I went OMGWTF HOW DID I MISS THIS?? And then after I was done squeeeeeeing, one of the other women raised her eyebrow at me and said he was ugly, and I almost had to get violent. Thankfully I had understanding friends who restrained me from committing murder. :)

Heh, you know, it really was. Definitely enough good things to make up for Dickens. Also, I'm kind of extending my birthday festivities through Thursday -- picnic today with some friends, then doing absolutely nothing as soon as I turn in my last assignment. The freedom, it will feel so sweet.
