Trying to figure out how Deepground organises itself is a pain in the ass. The Online Mode would apparently have us believe that the ultimate goal of every DG SOLDIER is to become a Tsviet. Don't look up modern armies; it will confuse you even mmore.
Trust me.
My dad was a Corporal for years and you leanr a lot about an army that way; modern armies are nothing like SODLIER, let alone DeepGround. The have COs, Generals, Corporals, Privates and then all the other levels in between.

Also, don't forget about Lost Force and Ragnorok ... :(

There are some similarities - if you look at all the different 'jobs' of Deepground soldiers, you can split them into infantry, cavalry and artillery, for example. I'm just trying to figure out how they got divided into those jobs. Would you know? (My dad was in the Air Force, so he's got a couple of books on military tactics lying around, which I've been dipping into. It kind of makes my head spin, but I'm trying to learn.)

*groans* I'm not even going near them yet. Since when was SOLDIER organised into Forces, anyway? Unless they were organised into Forces before Sephiroth was old enough to kick ass on his own or something like that.
