Misadventures in Latin + Computer Woes

So, I took a temporary dive off the map again - long story short, my hard drive is fritzing, apparently on its way out, which interfered with the internet connection. It's been patched a little, enough that I can actually get on, but at some point I will be dropping off again to get the effing hard drive replaced so I can MOVE ON WITH MY LIFE AND

I now adore the English language a bit more than before ('legitimate children', of all things?), though, certain English teachers are a different matter.

I love Optimus dearly, I really, really do, but why must he be so very distracting?

We really do get words from some very odd origins. Though to be fair, most of the words with Latin origins come into English by the way of French, so there's probably an intermediate step there. But still. That's what it originally came from as far as I can tell. Weird.

And of course, certain teachers are ALWAYS another matter. Remind me to bitch to you about my PPE lecturers. >>
