I don't think the LJers all left for tumblr en-masse. I think some went to dreamwidth for others I think they may just have stopped socializing with internet friends. I kind of miss it, tumblr is very diffuse in it's focus and it's not suitable for talking. dreamwidth may be a better service than LJ but it lacks the energy and the fandoms
