That books sounds interesting. I'm sure he (or someone doing something similar) had a blog as well. I'll see if I can find it. Money is the bane of my life at the moment. I wish I had a job closer to where I lived so I could walk to work or take the bus. I have, however, been growing fruit and veg in my garden the last two years and while it does take a little bit of effort, not that much is actually required (what I'm worse for is forgetting to pick/pull up things and then they go off. Though that does mean that I now have a huge number of raspberry bushes). I've had potatoes and tomatoes in grow bags, and they're both ridiculously easy to grow. I've also got fruit trees in pots and raspberries and strawberries in pots (and in the borders), and my garden isn't that big at all.
That's awesome! Yeah he does have a blog, also he set up a website for people to exchange things and skills instead of buying. How did you grow raspberry bushes? Just put the seeds down and leave them?
Cool, I'll go check out that website. I initially bought some small raspberry bushes and repotted them, but a lot of the others have just sprung up. My plants are starting to die back now, but come spring I'll take some cuttings for you and hopefully they'll turn into good plants.
