I couldn't get LJ Voice Posts to work...again, so I used an alternative method. Here's the link to my post.

But that day wore on

Thank you! And sorry for the late reply. To be honest, for me as non-native-listener, the qualtiy of a reading not done with voice post is so much easier to understand, so personally I don't mind at all. ;o)

Would you like me to convert your reading to an MP3 file and upload it on the new online audio space we're having for RLA? It is here, and I would give you the code for the embedded player afterwards so you can edit your LJ entry.
I still haven't managed to post about this yet; it is a space for all our readings, and dreamflower and I are also planning backups of all readings there to prevent loss when a journal is deleted, as it has happened before.
If you like, you can use this space for your recordings in the future, too; I also can do the converting into Mp3 if necessary.

I agree, LJ Voice Post's clarity and quality of sound is very poor, so recording on your computer is more preferable to me, and more enjoyable, I think, for the listener.

This audio space, will we be able to upload there ourselves, or would you have to do it? Either way, I have no problem having my recordings archived there so feel free to convert and add it to the rest.

Thank you! I'll add yours over the next days, but I'm currently having internet troubles which makes listening as well as uploading a bit hazardous, so I'd rather wait since your file is already online.

At the moment, I would prefer to do the uploading myself until we have figured everything out, but in theory everybody will be able to upload who has the password.

Thank you, and sorry for replying so late. As I already wrote above to ink-gypsy who was having the same problem, for me as non-native-listener, it's much easier to understand without the LJ voice post tin sound! *g*

Thank you but not particularly interested. You are welcome to convert and store the reading if you like but I spent quite a lot of time coming up with this alternate method that would work with my iPad so see no need to invest additional time.

Here you go. :) I'm sorry the quality isn't as good as my usual, I'm still battling to try and work out how to use my new laptop.

My reading is here, Precious:

I'm so sorry I never acknowledged receipt of the reading. I finally got my internet fixed today--I've had very unreliable access, and that's added to the hectic-ness of things for me lately.

Thank you! :o) And don't worry, internet not working well or at all is always a nuisance, as is having a hectic RL. I'm just happy you still managed to participate. ♥ Shirebound offers to be a permanent pinch-hitter, and I would have asked her later in the day, but then you posting came just in time.

Thanks you! ♥ And don't worry, please; most of us seem to be fashionably late with our readings. LJ was giving the voice posting people problems again, too.
