Title: To Eden (20/20)
Pairing: Kangteuk, Hanchul, Yewook, Eunhae, Sibum, Kyumin, Zhoury
Summary: In a society where males and females live together only if in love (true love), the rest (the singles) wage a secret war on each other through the use of spies. Their goal: obtain the master list of soulmates
Chapter 20
Angel looked out at the entire crowd of people. “I think it’s time.”
“I agree.” Raccoon smiled as he pushed a button.
Dragon felt something pulling him that wasn’t Cinderella. “Heechul…”
“Quickly, Hankyung, quickly.”
He knew he had less than a minute before he was taken. He quickly thrust and spilled himself inside Cinderella. He didn’t even wait but just made himself look as presentable as possible without cleaning up.
Cinderella pouted but just smoothed her skirt down. They turned to look and saw Angle and Raccoon looking at them.
“I suggest you two go freshen yourselves up.”
“But - “
“Don’t worry about it. We won’t start until you’re all here. Besides, you have a few minutes.”
The two nodded and quickly went to the bathroom.
Angel smiled to herself. “One down, five more to go.”
Turtle was just holding Wookie in his arms, letting her rest a bit, when he felt the pull. He cradled her close to him and let it take him away.
Angel smiled at the site before her. Turtle didn’t say anything; he just looked around, looking for a place for Wookie to rest. He spotted a couch off to the side and quickly made his way there. He gently placed her down, making sure she was comfortable, before looking at Angel and Raccoon.
“We’ll let you know when it’s time. She can rest until then.” Turtle smiled. He got up and sat down on the couch, letting her head rest on his lap.
“Two down, four more to go.”
“Hae, give me back my food.”
“Not until you kiss me, or catch me for that matter.” Hae laughed and raced away again. Monkey sighed but chased after her.
Hae ran to a dead end and before she could do anything, Monkey pinned her against the wall.
“My food.” Monkey smiled as he grabbed the plate from Hae. He picked up a piece of fruit but before he could put it in his mouth, Hae stole it from him. He just gaped at her while she smiled and slowly chewed.
“That was my - mmph” The taste of strawberries filled his mouth as Hae kissed him. HE let out a quiet moan before deepening the kiss. They were too caughed up in their kiss to noticed the pull. Only another voice brought them out of their embrace.
“Ahem.” The two broke apart, a light flush to their faces. “Monkey, there’s some food for you over there. Now go take a seat and relax until the others come.” Angle smiled as she watched Monkey attack the food with Hae hovering over him, occasionally stealing food, making Monkey pout.
“Three down, three to go.”
Horse hadn’t even been given a chance to search for his match before he was “kidnapped”. He could only stare at Snow White when she finally let him go after making sure the door was locked.
“Wha - “ Snow White kissed Horse, pinning him against the wall. They stayed like this, only occasionally switching who was against the wall, until they felt the pull.
Horse pulled back and hugged Snow White to him.
“Hello. Please have a seat and wait.” Horse nodded and led Snow White over to one of the unoccupied couches. He nodded to the others as he passed by and sat down, keeping Snow White close to his side.
Angel smiled and looked back at the monitors. “Four down, two to go.”
Wolf looked through the crowd, wondering where Minnie could’ve disappeared to. He felt arms wrap around his waist and yank him back into another alcove.
“Tsk tsk tsk, you still can’t see what’s right in front of your eyes.”
Wolf turned around to see Minnie grinning at him. “How do you keep disappearing? Are you trying to drive me crazy?”
Minnie grinned and placed a chaste kiss on his cheek. “Think.”
It took Wolf a moment before it dawned on him. Before he could do anything, he felt a tug and both of them were taken to the others.
“Hello, take a seat. We’ll be starting in a bit. You should freshen up, Minnie.” Minnie nodded at Angel before hurrying away to clean herself up (and put away her borrowed toy).
“Five down, one to go.” Angel took a deep breath. “It’s almost time.” She glanced at the monitor waiting.
Fox smiled at Mochi as they moved through the crowd, gliding to the music. They twirled around the room, oblivious to anything else. As the song ended, Mochi leaned up and gently kissed Fox. At that moment, the pull came and took them away.
“Welcome. Finally, you two are the last ones. Can you please take a seat so I can start our brief meeting before the highlight of the party?” Angel smiled at everyone seated around her. “First off, let me congratulate you all again for finding your soulmate. Now this party’s in celebration of all of you which means in a bit we will be announcing each couple. You will all descend the stairs one by one, couples linking arms, and wait in the middle of the ballroom. After that, just listen and follow my announcements. Now please line up. We’ll have another meeting after.”
Angel smiled as she got the couples lined up. She would tidy people’s clothes here and there. “Alright, I think we’re all ready. You may start, Raccoon.”
Angel watched as one by one, the couples descended the stairs. She smiled looking at how perfect each couple was.
Cinderella smiled as she held onto Dragon’s arm. She was loving the attention. Minnie reveled in the attention as well. She stayed close to Wolf but smiled at everyone. Wookie and Mochi were embarrassed of all the eyes on them; they weren’t familiar with the attention. They clung to their partners, trying to hide themselves. Hae didn’t care but she was having fun teasing Monkey who seemed so embarrasses. She couldn’t help adding to his embarrassment with little touches here and there. Snow White didn’t care. She just held onto Horse, leaning her head against his shoulder. Most of the guys didn’t care about the attention except maybe Monkey. Turtle and Fox were just concerned about their partners and tried to protect and comfort them as best as they could.
Angel signaled to Raccoon to begin.
“Welcome everyone. Today we are here to celebrate 6 new couplings. Before the part can start, we have a few things we need to go through.
Dragon, Cinderella, please come to the front.” The two made their way to the front, in the middle of the floor.
“Heechul, do you accept and love your soulmate, Hankyung?”
Cinderella smiled at Dragon. “I do.” A light glow appeared around her.
“Hankyung, do you accept and love your soulmate, Heechul?”
“I do.” A light glow appeared around him.
Raccoon smiled. “Please hold hands.” The two held each other’s hands and looked into each other’s eyes.
“You may no kiss the bride.” Dragon pulled Cinderella towards him and gave her a deep kiss. The light mixed together, glowing a bright pink before fading away. When they pulled away, Raccoon and Angel smiled.
“Turtle, Wookie, please step forward.” Wookie blushed as Raccoon took them through the whole process. She flushed an even brighter red when Turtle kissed her. Their light glowed a bright red to pink to nothing. Angel smiled knowingly at the couple.
Raccoon repeated the same steps with the four remaining couples. Everyone was subjected to watching a bright light glow pink as each couple was joined together. It took a few minutes for everyone to blink the light away. Raccoon smiled brightly at everyone.
“May I now present to you: Hankyung and Heechul, Yesung and Ryeowook, Eunhyuk and Donghae, Siwon and Kibum, Kyuhyun and Sungmin, Zhoumi and Henry.” Everyone smiled and clapped as the six couples were illuminated. Soon the music started and each of the couples took to the dance floor. Each couple moved and swayed to the music in their own way. When the song ended, they all moved off the dance floor to where Angel beckoned them. Everyone piled into the stretch limo.
“Hello, hello, hello. Congratulations. You’re now all married. Now to quickly explain before we arrive at our first destination. All of you are retired spies now. You no longer have to worry about work; you’re free to do as you wish.”
“But what will we do with our time?”
“I’ll get to that in a minute. Now I’m not sure if you all realized this yet but the main reason you became spies was to get you all together since you’re all soulmates.”
“But what about - “
“Sorry but that I cannot tell you. Just don’t worry about it. All you had to really do was find your soulmate which you did with help from me and Kangin.” Angel smiled. “Now, Hankyung and Heechul, follow me. The rest of you can come if you want.” Angel got out of the limo followed by the others.
“OMG!” Everyone stared at the house in front of them.
“Welcome to your new home. Sorry, I can’t give you a tour but inside is a package for you that will explain everything. Come on, everyone. Say bye to Hankyung and Heechul.”
Everyone waved and piled back into the limo, save for Hankyung and Heechul. Angel dropped off the other couples, save for Yesung and Ryeowook.
“You two probably know why you’re last. I need to talk to you guys a little bit more than the others. Let’s go into your house.” Angel led the way into the house. She went into the living room and took a seat.
“Don’t worry about the furnishings. You can change it in a snap. Now come have a seat.” Yesung and Ryeowook sat across from Angel. “Good, now I have something to ask of you.”
“You want us to take your place.”
“Yes, wait, how did you know?”
“We have our sources. Besides, there’s an early congrats and explanation part in our little welcome package.”
“Oh…right…I was gonna tell you in the car before we got here. Oh well…so what do you say?”
“What happens if we don’t accept?”
“I’ll just wait for a new pair to be able to take our place.”
“Oh okay. Well what do you think, Yesung?”
“Let’s do it.”
“Alright. So when do we start?”
Angel smiled. “It’s in your welcome package. Now I have to go. I’ll see you soon.”
Angel went back to the limo. Arms wrapped around her waist and she leaned against Raccoon.
“Let’s go home.”

Shindong looked at the monitors with a smile on his face.
“Another happily ever after.” He turned around in his chair as the door opened. “Congratulations. A job well done.”
Leeteuk smiled. “Thank you. No problems while we were gone?”
“Nope. Hi Kangin.”
“Hi Shindong., no problems while we were gone?”
“Of course not.” Kangin smiled and took a seat next to Leeteuk who had already reclaimed her spot.
“So how are the new residents liking Eden?”
“Oh I think they’re enjoying it. Wanna take a look?”
The three of them turned towards the monitor. With a quick push of some buttons, shots of the 6 couples flashed onto the monitors. All has a happy smile on their face.
“Aww, they all look so happy.”
“They sure do.” Leeteuk smiled, tears in her eyes. “And if I’m not mistaken, a few might be expecting soon.”
The three smiled, thinking about the happy couples enjoying their new lives together.
“So have you thought of a new team yet?”
“Going through the files but have a few in mind.”
“That’s good, that’s good.” Shindong smiled and looked at the couple. “But next time, go easy on the toys. Do you know how much trouble goes into fixing up headquarters?”
Kangin and Leeteuk laughed. “But the toys are so much fun. Besides they even come up with new ones for us.”
“Alright, alright, fine. You two win.”
“By the way, we’ll be having two new interns tomorrow. So be ready okay?”
“What?!?!?!” Shindong turned to see Kangin and Leeteuk leaving. He sighed and went back to the monitors. Life at Eden…so much stress but so much fun…
