Title: Girls vs. Boys (3/?)
Pairings: Yewook, Kyumin, Eunhae, Kangteuk, Hanchul, Sibum
Word Count: 2233
Summary: The boys used to pick on the girls when they were little kids. Then the girls moved away, overseas for a few years. When they came back, things had changed…in more ways than one.
Chapter 3
“Alright, have fun in class. We’ll meet by the front gate after school alright?”
“Yes umma.” The girls started walking away when Leeteuk called out “And don’t forget to meet together for lunch.” The girls sighed. Sometimes Leeteuk got a little too umma like and nagged them. Ryeowook and Kibum waved goodbye to their unnis and left for their class. Sungmin and Donghae entered their classroom.
“Hello there. You two must be the new students.” The teacher smiled at them and then turned to the class. “Class, we have two new students joining us today: Lee Sungmin and Lee Donghae. Say hello.” Sungmin waved to all the students, smiling sweetly. Donghae gave a bright smile and waved. “Alright, now why don’t you two take those two empty seats next to Eunhyuk? Eunhyuk, raise your hand so they know where to go.”
Eunhyuk shyly raised his hand. Donghae smiled at him but he looked away. He still felt embarrassed about his reaction earlier.
The two of them slowly made their way to the back.
Eunhyuk couldn’t help staring as Donghae made her way back to him. The smile on her face…her hair bouncing along…the way her skirt moved as she walked, coming closer and closer to him…
“Psst, Eunhyuk, be careful there…you don’t want another incident happening again do you?”
“What?” Eunhyuk looked at Shindong who was pointing in his lap. He glanced down and instantly blushed, trying his best to cover his rising problem. He heard a giggle right by his ear. He turned his head to the right and saw Donghae looking at him. He blushed even more, looking like a ripe tomato.
For the rest of class, Eunhyuk had trouble concentrating. Just the fact that Donghae was sitting next to him, looking so adorable while she listened to the teacher, kept him in a daze. He kept imagining all sorts of scenarios involving him and her, one where he saved her from a burning building to one where he dazzled her with his charms. He didn’t realize class was over until Shindong poked him behind his head.
“What?” Eunhyuk glared at Shindong before realizing the other guys were there too. “Whoa…when did you guys get here?”
“We’ve been here since classes ended which was like,” Kyuhyun looked at his watch, “10 minutes ago, monkey.”
“What?”
“Yeah, you’ve been spaced out for that long. Come on, let’s go to lunch.” Eunhyuk got up and followed along after his friends.

“So how was class so far?” Leeteuk was helping Ryeowook to past out the lunches she had made earlier for everyone.
“Eunhyuk couldn’t stop staring at Donghae all through class.”
“He was not.”
“Fine, most of the class. The few times he didn’t look at you he was staring into space.”
“Really?”
“Yeah. I can’t believe you didn’t notice. You probably didn’t realize the other thing that happened.”
“What? What happened? Tell me tell me.”
“Dat da dat dat da tell me narul saranghandago nal gidaryo watdago” Everyone sighed.
“Not again…”
“Heechul, Sungmin was going to tell us something important. Shh.” Ryeowook placed a finger over her lips to signal her unni to hush. She looked so adorable doing that all the guys staring at her sighed.
Yesung let out an incredibly loud sigh from his table. Kangin hit the back of his head.
“Stop staring at her. Gawd, could you be more obvious?”
“Not as obvious as the monkey over here.” Shindong pointed to Eunhyuk who seemed lost in another daydream. Kangin reached over and smacked his head as well.
“Oww, what was that for hyung?”
“Stop daydreaming. You as bad as him,” pointing to Yesung, “Snap out of it already. Do you want to embarrass us in front of the girls, especially…” Kangin trailed off, letting his gaze fall on Leeteuk happily chatting and eating with her dongsaengs. She looked so happy and carefree. Kangin let out a sigh.
Kyuhyun snickered and smirked. “You should listen to Kangin. You don’t want to be so obvious and embarrass the group like him.” The others laughed, drawing Kangin’s attention away. He glared at Kyuhyun.
“What did you say?”
“Nothing, just that you were being so obvious and embarrassing the group way more than Eunhyuk or Yesung.”
“Why you little-“ Kangin growled and started to stand up but Siwon grabbed a hold of him and made him stay in his seat.
Siwon frowned at Kyuhyun. “Don’t go upsetting your hyungs like that, Kyuhyun, especially Kangin.”
“Whatever.” Kyuhyun turned back to his PSP. Siwon just shook his head and turned back to his book.
Eunhyuk just went back to staring at Donghae, laughing with her friends. The longer he stared at her, the more he wanted her. The feeling kept building up that he had to do something.
Eunhyuk stood up from the table and walked over to the girls’ table.
Donghae was talking to her friends, completely oblivious to the shadow looming over her. Sungmin stopped talking and looked behind Donghae. Donghae looked confused then turned around. She was surprised to see Eunhyuk standing right behind her.
“Y-yes Eunhyuk oppa?” Eunhyuk said nothing, just grabbed Donghae’s wrist and pulled her up and away. “Eunhyuk oppa? Oppa? What are you doing? Could you let me go?”
Eunhyuk pulled Donghae into the first empty classroom. He let go of Donghae and shut the door. Donghae just looked at Eunhyuk confused. “Eunhyuk oppa? What are you doing?”
Eunhyuk just stared at Donghae for a moment. Donghae started to get a little scared and uncomfortable. She started to move towards the door when Eunhyuk’s voice stopped her.
“I’ve always liked you. Ever since elementary school.”
“What?” Donghae turned around and saw Eunhyuk holding something in his hands. She looked at it carefully before gasping in surprise. In his hands was her plush fishy that had gone missing 5 years ago. It still looked the same, just a little more ragged like someone had spent some time holding it or something. She slowly walked over to Eunhyuk and took the plush fishy from his grasp. She hugged it close to her body, the tears threatening to spill from her eyes.
“You had it all this time?”
“Uh…yeah…well…the thing is…I was the one who hid it all those years ago but when you left, I sorta just took it home with me and kept it.”
“Why?”
“Well…I-I kept it because it was the only thing I had to remind me of you.” Eunhyuk looked down in embarrassment. Donghae smiled at how cute Eunhyuk looked embarrassed.
“I thought you didn’t like me. You were always doing mean things to me.”
“Uh…well…at that time…I…I didn’t really know how to tell you what I was feeling. I guess I just-” The door opened revealing Sungmin.
“Come on Hae. We need to get to class.” Sungmin came into the room and pulled Donghae along. Eunhyuk just stood there in shock. The bell rang, bringing him out of his daze. He quickly rushed to class.

“What was that all about, Hae?”
“Well…he…” Donghae looked down at her plush fishy and smiled. Sungmin looked at her and saw what she was holding.
“Wait, is that?” Donghae nodded. “OMG do you know what this means?” Donghae looked at her unni, confused. Sungmin sighed. Donghae was as clueless about this as she was about her effect on guys. It was probably a good thing she was so oblivious but sometimes it was annoying…like now. “Never mind, let’s just go to class. Oh and put that away before you lose it again.”
Donghae placed it away, gently in her bag. “Alright, so where are we going now?”
“To Dance.” Sungmin smiled and opened the door. The first person Donghae sees is Eunhyuk talking to some guys and then she notices Leeteuk waiting for them by the locker rooms. Donghae glances at him for a moment before following Sungmin and Leeteuk to the locker rooms to change.
Eunhyuk watched as Donghae walked away to change. He stared at her cute little butt.
“Eww, could you be any more obvious, Hyukkie? You were totally staring at her ass. Gawd, I never knew you were so perverted.”
“What? No no no no no. I am not perverted.”
“Sure…you’re not perverted at all. I mean most guys get nosebleeds and boners randomly when staring blatantly at some girl. They’re not thinking perverted things at all.”
“Oh shut up, Shindong!”
“What’s this about a boner?”
“Well earlier in class today, when Donghae walked in, Eunhyuk was staring at her and got a little excited.”
“Eunhyuk! Shame on you. I thought we had solved this problem already.”
Eunhyuk was flabbergasted. “W-what? Hankyung? What are you talking about? I didn’t have any problem.”
“Any problem? You used to sleep with a plush fishy every night for 5 years, ever since she left.”
Eunhyuk blushed. “Shh…you don’t need to tell everyone that. And what happened to the quiet Hankyung that doesn’t say anything?”
“What? Am I not allowed to have an attitude anymore? And be respectful. I’m your hyung.”
Eunhyuk sighed. “Yes Hankyung hyung. Now can we please change the subject or just shut up and dance?”
“Not yet.” Hankyung looked towards the locker room doors. Sungmin , Leeteuk, and Donghae were finished changing and were coming back out to join everyone else. “We need to test the new girls.” He smiled.
“Sungmin-sshi. Donghae-sshi. Leeteuk-sshi. Can you all please come here?” The three quickly walked over and smiled at Hankyung, Shindong, and Eunhyuk. Eunhyuk blushed and turned away when Donghae looked at him and smiled. “Can the three of you demonstrate your dancing skill for us? We need to know where to place you.” They both nodded. “Donghae first please.”
Donghae smiled and walked to the center of the room. She nodded towards Sungmin who put on some music. As soon as she got the rhythm, she started popping and locking with a few ballet moves thrown in. Eunhyuk couldn’t stop staring. He was amazed at her skill but what more was she looked so hot and sexy. He caught her eye a few times. She would give him a small smile before looking away again doing something utterly sensual. If he didn’t know better, he would’ve thought she was openly trying to seduce him with her provocative dance.
When Donghae was finished, everyone clapped for her. She just smiled and bowed, winking at Eunhyuk before moving to sit down next to Sungmin and Leeteuk. Eunhyuk just stared at Donghae. He didn’t even pay attention to Sungmin or Leeteuk dancing, he was just captivated by Donghae.

Kyuhyun was passing the dance studio when he noticed someone dancing. He stopped and watched through the window. Wow…she’s pretty good. And she looks damn fine. I wonder who she is.
She turned around and locked eyes with Kyuhyun. Kyuhyun stared in shock. Sungmin looked surprised before she smiled and winked at Kyuhyun, causing him to blush. He looked down. His eyes widened in surprise. He quickly looked around to see if anyone else was around before disappearing to the nearest bathroom.

“Alright, we’ll it seems like you three have a lot of experience.” The three girls smiled. “We’re preparing for a show later this month. We’ll try to find a place for you in it. For now, just watch us to get a feel for the dance.” Hankyung, Shindong, and Eunhyuk lined up in the center of the room. Hankyung nodded to the guy by the CD player. Music blasted out of the speakers.
Donghae watched Eunhyuk carefully as he danced along with Hankyung and Shindong. She couldn’t help noticing the change in him. He became more confident and charismatic.
Sungmin watched the boys carefully, memorizing their steps. The steps were so easy it was going to be a piece of cake to follow them.
Leeteuk glanced back and forth between the dancers and her dongsaengs. Sungmin was fine, she’d be able to pick up this dance easy peasy but she was a little worried about Donghae. She knew Donghae would have no trouble learning the dance (she probably had it memorized already) but she was staring at Eunhyuk with stars in her eyes. Leeteuk hoped Donghae wouldn’t become blinded with infatuation. That might not do well for the rest of the group.
When the boys were done, everyone clapped for them. The girls weren’t too impressed but they just smiled and politely clapped.
“Alright, now let us break it down for you.”
Leeteuk smiled. “No that’s okay. We wouldn’t want to trouble you.”
“Oh it’s no trouble at all.”
“You might not have a problem but I do. I don’t like wasting my time. So if you please step aside.” Leeteuk moved past Hankyung and stood in the center of the room. Donghae and Sungmin followed suit. Leeteuk signaled the guy to put the music on.
As soon as the music started, the girls did the exact same moves but added their own little touch to it. It looked ever better when they performed. The boys stood shocked. When the girls finished, they just smiled to them and left.
“Did they just?”
“I think so.” Hankyung and Shindong stared at their retreating backs. “Did you know?”
“No.”
“Weren’t they amazing, especially Donghae? I mean the way she moved her hips, she was so…” Eunhyuk turned around to see his hyungs giving him weird looks. “What?”

btw sorry if the description of hae's dance sucked...couldn't really think of what to say there or how to describe it...i was thinking of hunni23's fic "I For You" for that part (she did so much better describing hae's dancing skill than i ever could)
