My mom's house was broken into yesterday afternoon. She came home while he was still in the house and he bolted - she never saw him, but she certainly interrupted. He stole all of her good jewelry, as well as one of her jewelry boxes. holy shit, that really sucks. I am glad he got scared away when she came in though, it could have been a lot worse.

Holy crap man! I'm glad you and your mother weren't harmed. That really, really sucks. Aside from the jewelry and the sense of security, it sounds like the burglar didn't get away with too much. It's a sickening feeling, huh? Give your mother a big ass hug for me, okay? I'll talk to you real soon.

Yeah. Those walls really aren't very hard to jump and don't offer that much safety.
