Ryo painting, done!
XD SO those of you who knew of my JE painting project, I present you my first piece that I finally finished! XD A portrait of Nishikido Ryo! <3
This is my first time painting a person with acrylic on canvas, so play nice, okay? XD I've always done landscapes and all. XD I rarely paint people, and the ones I have done (exclusing anime) was an acrylic on cardstock (a year ago) and watercolor (like, in 2006? o0 I don't even remember, but a long time).
Yes, he's purple, deal with it. XD The printer was weird when I printed my picture out, and then because it was my first time I painted, my private art teacher (yes, private because I have other art teachers, though I have been with her since age five XD) suggested that I use a monochromatic color scheme. Given the angle of his face, she said that it would be quite difficult for someone who rarely paints people, so don't get all complicated. So purple. But then I added in a touch of brown and peach, no, it's not really momchromatic, but oh well. XD He's just purple. XD Also, I focused in the face and the guitar strings more than I did everything else because if I focused on everything, it would be too "busy" and unorginal and complicated. XD

I say this turned out better than I expected, but it still has a lot of flaws. I'll point out the main ones at the bottom. XD

Major flaws to notice:
+ His hair is parted at the wrong angle and too far to the right.
+ The guitar isn't big enough, strings are off
+ Fingers are too long
+ Hair by the ear is really badly done
+ Body/shirt is too angled
+ A lot of angles in here are off
+ The shirt. X_x At first, I was advised to just leave the outline of the shirt and not paint it, but I got subborn, and decided that I at least wanted to paint it black with a few shades and jabs of purple. Turned out like this. XD
And well... Yeah. XD Ignore me. I'm painting a picture of Kame with another teacher, but I don't think it'll turn out that well. I see to it at random times, and I can just see it sky rocket off course. XD I even started sketching that one before I started this (see, I used different methods and techniques to do the two paintings. If you don't get what I mean, an example would be I free-sketched this painting right on the canvas, but sketched the Kame one with a grid on paper first before transferring it onto the canvas), but I only got around to painting the background (whereas I started on the outlines and face with this one). Wish me luck? XD
Arg, I've had a stomach ache since three hours ago. X_x
Oh, by the way, how many people in NEWS and KAT-TUN has a niece or nephew? Do you know their names, or at least, about how old they are? XD
