[fic] NishiKato fosho + drabble
When Shige turned twenty and NEWS celebrated his coming-of-age ceremony (with Tegoshi, of course), Shige wasn’t expecting everyone to come with presents full of expensive clothes and accessories, or having everything decorated in such an elaborate manner that it was exaggerating. He wasn’t expecting much except for everyone to get drunk and wasted, and possibly try to have a good time.
Of course, his first impression when he saw the pile of presents, Shige had thought that they were meant for Tegoshi, but then Koyama and Yamapi, with their arms slung casually around each other, would turn to him with bright, silly smiles and shout, “Happy Birthday, Shige!” and point at the presents and coincidentally, Massu, who stood a feet or two from the giant cake on the table, staring hungrily at it.
And then Shige suddenly felt a burst of warmth in his chest, and it slowly became a bubbly and giddy feeling that made Shige face his bandmates with a grin so wide that his face could burst along with watery eyes, and stutter out a “T-thank you!” (to which Ryo snorted and muttered something about crybabies off to the side, only to be smacked in the head by an excited Yamapi).
Shige, brushing Ryo’s comment aside, felt like the proudest being in the world at the moment, being so lucky to have such loving members. But then Tegoshi would bounce into the room dressed in his slightly oversized ceremony kimono, and then everyone would direct him to an even bigger pile of presents that made Shige feel like he would never be good enough.
But then there was a cough from behind him, and Shige turned to look at- or slightly down- at a certain Osaka man who gruffly shoved a rather small, navy blue box at him before stalking off to pat Tegoshi fondly on the head. Shige looked down at his hands and studied the package before turning to his table of presents to finally notice that there were only five giant boxes of gifts.
Sometime during the middle of the celebration-at some point, it seemed other Johnny’s bands had also joined in on the party-when mostly everyone in the room had become drunk, Shige sat in his own corner and opened the small box to see a slip of paper that turned out to be a ‘coupon’ for a free meal of “order whatever you like”.
The smile that graced his lips this time wasn’t as wide as the one he had given NEWS earlier, but it was a smile that seemed to shine more than the one he had presented before.
‘Coupon to a free meal from the kitchen of the Sexy Osaka Man’.

It was a typical filming day at the set.
Ryo sat on the couch in the Ryusei no Kizuna dressing room, a book in his hand and a towel around his neck to dry his damp hair, ready to get an hour or two of reading done before the filming break ended and the staff had finish getting the camera to work properly.
The sound of a cold can of fruit juice being settled on the table next to him made the Osakan look up to see one Ninomiya Kazunari walk out.
It was a typical day at the set.
