It wasn't Kukai's fault he was actually on time! Really! Daichi had wanted to stop and play some soccer... and how could Kukai say no to his best friend? Before either of them had realized it, they were both exhausted, tired, and in need of some really good hamburgers.

"Kukai!" Daichi was yelling as Kukai ran towards the hamburger stand, "You think he can see me?"

"Probably not," Kukai shot back as he slowed down to a light jog in front of Nida. "But stay. There's gonna be good food!"

Now grinning energetically, the kid tugged on his rolled sleeves (he figured wearing shorts and a long-sleeve t-shirt was fine for this weather) as he arrived at the stand. Pulling out his wallet, Kukai laughed, "Sorry I'm late. I got really wrapped up in my game!"

SO LATE, KUKAI. SO LATE. Nida frowned and pulled his sleeve down over his watch. "Hey, no problem," he said. "I wasn't waiting too long, anyway." HE HAD BEEN WAITING FOREVER, UGH.

"You're buying, though, right?" IT WAS THE LEAST KUKAI COULD DO.

That was obviously Nida's problem for coming early, because normal people arrive on time for everything! Being the oblivious person he is, though, Kukai easily ignored all signs of his late arrival. "Course I am," he grinned as he pulled out his wallet.

"What'd your fake brother recommend? I'd personally go for the smoked cheese burger, but they said in the guides that it's good plain too."

Sorry for taking forever, it's finals week 8|; wwiiflyingace May 13 2010, 18:10:18 UTC
Yeah, Kukai, you better pull out that wallet >:|

"Fake-Aden said it's all good," Nida replied with a shrug, "which doesn't really help. But he said he gets the bacon cheeseburger most of the time, so there's that. I think you can measure the mark of a burger joint by how good their plain no-frills burgers are, though."
