If I heard my messages correctly, I'm supposedly stuck in this town to collect jewel shards. Does this happen often? I don't mind helping everyone out, but I can't say I quite expected to wake up here either ( Read more... )

I don't think anyone knows what they're doing. It's adorably like real life. Try improvising or something.

Married? Oh, lucky you. That's always fun.

I find that hard to believe. Where's home? Oh, and when. We're stuck in the 21st century. Early 21st century. I do not understand the obsession.

Gotham City, New Jersey, and 2006 for me. It's not so different from here, really... only difference that I lived on the East Coast.

I'd wager the "obsession" is mainly because most people are also from similar times.

What, on this planet, too? This is just getting ridiculous. It's not exactly a good one, is it? Even with the poodles.

I keep getting dragged here, and it's a bit rubbish. Talk about a boring time and place.

It's not that boring if you know where to look. But considering you're from the future - and not even from Earth, I'm guessing - I suppose this place may seem outdated.

Any place where all my favorite activities are illegal is a boring one, yes.

I suppose you'll just have to deal with it like everyone else, unless you manage to find those shards and go home.

You're making the mistaken assumption I'm a reasonable man. Is that what you plan to do? Find the shards, save the day, all go home, simple as that?
