- Avantasia seems to be playing everywhere this summer. I just noticed that they're playing in Japan at the Shinagawa Prince Stellar Ball. I'd imagine it's located in the hall beside the hotel itself. Ironically I've stayed at that hotel every single time I've visited Japan. They have a bus shuttle service that takes you right to the airport which ( Read more... )

How many times have you been to Japan? I'd love to go there one day.

So Crisis Core is pretty good after all. With all the spin-offs from FFVII I wasn't sure if any of them would be worth playing. I still have a backlog of FF games to get through before I buy any new ones.

Two times: 2007 & 2008. Both times were in the month of February. The first time was spent in Tokyo for the most part with a day trip to Kyoto. The second time was for two Helloween/Gamma Ray shows and one Iron Maiden show. We stayed in Osaka for the first 3 days and then moved over to Tokyo for the last 4.

I like it a lot. Considering it's on a handheld machine, it comes across really well when you only have time to play for 5-10 minutes. Some people have complained on various websites that it can get boring after a while but I haven't had that problem so far.

Though I didn't like the Dirge of Cerberus as I'm not a fan of shoot-em up sorts of games. Plus the camera is wacky when you're moving around that you end up getting killed because it wouldn't move to where you wanted it to.

The Stellar Ball is where I came outside on the ...2nd Floor(?) to walk one door over into the area where the movie theatre was. They had some kind of boy band while we were there. I kept seeing the posters near and inside the glass door to the Stellar Ball, but didn't think anything of it until I had to wade through a sea of high-maintenance young women waiting to be let in when I went to see 'L'.
