You can come with us to Japan in October. I've figured up the expenses for 1 & 2 people since Ryoko may or may not be able to go. The only warning is that you may not be interested in a couple of the events we'll be doing, we'll be eating japanese food the whole time, so you may want to make alternate eating plans, and if Ryoko doesn't have to back out, you might have to get a separate room. Otherwise, you can travel and check out the tours with us and take advantage of the times we're doing something you wouldn't enjoy to run free.

Let me know and I can send you the basic schedule and expenses. You are MORE than welcome!

Well damn near every memorable moment on the forum has some drinking involved. Whether or not the person was drunk is debatable but it still seems to crop up anyway. I don't hang with people who drink. My father was a abusive alcoholic. There's no way in hell I'd willingly want to be around people like that.

I'm entertaining the idea of seeing Sonata Arctica in Milan or Stuttgart, Germany. Both shows are within two days of each other :)

I'm so glad you hadn't gotten plane tickets or paid for a hotel yet! I was able to get out of our hotel reservations for a $19.95 fee (whew), and we were planning on driving, so I'm just out the cost of our two tickets (and hopefully I'll recoup at least part of that on ebay as it gets closer to Voodoo time). New Orleans is a lot of fun even without going to Voodoo BUT it's also the place lots of people go to just get royally smashed. And puke on the street. And then drink some more! It's probably going to be that much worse for being Halloween weekend, soooooo I think selling your ticket and finding another trip to go on would be a splendid idea. I hope you can find something fun in the fall/winter!

I'm very sorry that some events have screwed up all your trip, but that's not really a bad idea to visit freely Europe, and also seeing some Sonata Arctica concert! You could see their dates in the period and have fun in that area when you go there...! *hugs*

Yeah I was thinking of flying into Italy again to see them in Milan :)

I definitely have plans to find some cheese gnocchi when I'm there. That stuff is awesome but they don't sell it over here in the stores :(
