One of the guys on the Ayreon forum jokingly said for another person to post a picture of his camera instead of a photo of him. So I responded with a picture of my camera. Though while looking for a picture of my camera, I found the Canon website with their list of cameras. That was a big mistake

I wonder if the amazon price is actually a 3rd party price. I ran into that with my PSP. They were selling it for at least $50 over market value. Then I noticed that every time amazon would sell out (which it did, repeatedly), it would default to the highest priced vendor's item (the vendor's name would appear in small print on the right). Sneaky.

Yeah now that I looked at it more closely, it is through another vendor. They're jacking up the price because Amazon doesn't carry it anymore. Lame.

I'm about due for an upgrade as well and Canons feckin rock. Hell, mine held a roll of film for 4 years and it's perfect, so yeah.

I have an HP Photosmart somethin or other camera that I've had since 04 and it's damn time to get something new I think.

Yeah that's a rather large price diff though... o_O

Fuyu pointed out that it was because it was a 3rd party seller on Amazon jacked up the price. Lovely of them >_<

If you order it from Canon's website, it will be $279 :)

I probably won't be ordering anything new for a while, but if I see one somewhere cheap, then I'm goin for it. Gotta be ready the next time there's a show to go to... or next time the Rays come through the US, hahaha. Knowing my concertgoing agenda, it'll be the next time they come through. Garr.

Either way though, a digital camera is a valuable tool for painting. Course, it still doesn't shoot slide film but eh... feh.
