I'm ot sure how well it will work on the site on the iPhone/iPad overall. I know I've been able to see/do a few things on there, but it uses so much flash stuff (which, of course, Apple and Adobe have WW3 about) and pop-up windows, I'm not sure you're going to really get to see it all very well. I *think* maybe you only have to "collect" the key, but it's been a while since I did that, so don't quote me on it!!

Bummer. I am pretty certain I'm missing a ton of stuff, hopefully my tower will be back soon and I can go back through for what I missed. I've collected some thngs, but the key doesn't want to cooperate, bummer.
It's actually better, in some ways, that you don't pick up everything as you go thru the 1st time, anyway, b/c you don't get house points (since you haven't been Sorted yet). Once you're Sorted, you can go back and collect stuff, and then you get house points for it, too. Win-win ;-)
Also, once you're Sorted and all, remind me to give you a link for where to find what ;-) You can even find a bezoar (which costs way too many Galleons!) in the last chapter of the story. I *think* you may have to buy the 1st one once you get your shopping list (can't remember), but then, whenever you use the one you buy, you can go collect another one. You only get a house point the 1st time you find it, but at least it keeps you from spending Galleons!
i didn't buy a bezoar when in Diagon Alley - there weren't any potion ingredients on my shopping list. I was going to buy some ingredients but didn't know what to buy. I did think of getting a bezoar, but the price - yeesh. I'm glad I didn't buy it since you can find one...
And Sherry's right about not collecting too much stuff before being sorted. You can go back later and pick the stuff up and get house points. \o/

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you have to put the key in the lock at Gringotts. And I've not done much with Pottermore on my iPad because of the Flash. Which annoys me to no end (the Flash/Apple war).
