ren't those things prevalent in almost every fantasy turn-based game? Look at FFtactics, or the Ogre Battle series. Fire emblem founded that whole genre, more or less.

All tactical RPGs have a lot in common. Borrowing's not a bad thing, though I don't think you mean it in such a positive way. I am usually quick to jump to Nintendo's defense, though.

I mean, all games "borrow' from others. Look at World of Warcraft. It wouldn't be half the MMO it is if it didn't jack stuff from half a dozen other works.
