One of the enduring mysteries of recent history was the identity of Cobra Commander. We heard random bits of background over the years, that he was a former car salesman, that his beloved brother (and Vietnam vet) Dan died in a car accident, that he had a son named Billy. Somehow he always managed to escape from the forces of goodness and democracy
