Film Thoughts: Margin Call

The most interesting thing to me about Margin Call is that it’s shot like a horror movie. Look at the visual palette and it’s all icy blues and whites. Sunlight is harsh and alien; what these people do they do in the dark, lit only by the artificial light of their monitors and overhead fluorescents

Thanks for this. I tuned in to this movie on an overnight flight sometime a couple years ago, and I came in 15 minutes into it and had NO IDEA what film I was watching. I just saw the cast and knew I had to watch. I was transfixed. And then I arrived at my destination and forgot to check on IMDB to see what movie it was, and forgot all about it until this very moment. "Margin Call". Now I know.
