On Reading Lots of Books In Toronto

I've been in Toronto for a week and a half. In that time, in addition to various bits of writing and lots of work, I've read six books. This is mainly due to the fact that I've finally figured out the relative location of my hotel to the subway, not to mention the amount of time it generally takes to get from said hotel, through the mall-shaped

There have been many books I've read where, for whatever reason, I put them down and walked away for a day or few just to absorb the wonder that they evoked.

Sometimes this was a desire not to leave the world the author had created; other times it was to savor a particularly well-crafted intersection of plot elements.
