This is why I don't think of (or call) myself a writer anymore. It's sad! But the time that would get filled with writing gets filled with other stuff.

Or, in the active voice: I fill the time that I might otherwise fill with writing with other stuff.

I'm not necessarily saying "stop writing". I am suggesting that if all you do is write, you may not in fact have much that's interesting to write about.

Also also, Ms. Meyer has no A's. In her name, I mean. But also in my scoring of her work, which I know only through the wit of cleolinda and also that time I stood in Borders and skimmed bits of Breaking Dawn to see if it was as bad as I thought it would be. (The answer, for the record, was No. It was worse.)

i cannot believe crap like this takes up valuable real estate in my braincase oh god help
