I had to laugh (and share) this comment. :D

Here are the results for 1.04- Man's Best Friend! We were able to break the tie for the elimination but there was still a 3 way tie for the second most positive votes so we only have one winner for that this challenge. :)

-Good crop but it's kind of plain.
-The colours are desaturated and look bland.

+ Nice brightness and very engaging crop
+Love the coloring. Love the crop. Love that you've left the icon to speak for itself rather than adding text (I'd have been tempted to but it would have been the wrong choice). Beautiful icon!

-nice 'disappearing' effect and text, but line on the left spoil the atmosphere of icon for me

+The faded and scratch texture over the icon makes it look old and worn making it look like a photograph that's been "weathered", also nice text!
+Great colours, nice usage of texture and text.

+The colors are beautiful and bright, and details are crisp but not oversharpened. The contrast is very nice as well.

+Good use of crop and the text is really adorable.
+The text is just perfect, and the sepia colouring makes the icon seem very warm.
+:Intriguing and compelling crop. It's obvious the dog is kissing RDA. Although RDA is a little bit grainy, it works well with the sharp focus on the dog and the sepia coloring. Nice depth to the image and the text makes me go, "awwwwwwwww."
+awesome crop and use of fonts, so text is great too. Very wise coloring ;)

-text is a little blurry, might have worked better with different font.
