online banking -- WTF?

Does anyone on my flist do online banking?

If so, is it normal to not be able to make payments on weekends? ( cut for profanity )

Yes, I've recently had the due date for my credit card due on a Sunday and I paid it on the Friday night before and it was still considered late. Its was my own banks credit card. The problem is that they don't process any payments on the weekend because most banks are closed.

Banks live for late fees, or fees of any kind. The bastards.

They really are. I mean, seriously, what's the point of having stuff automated if it has to be done during work hours???? Jerks. I am so throwing that credit card into the jar for a few months and using a different one that's not B of A.

That is SO wrong, especially since a lot of banks are open on Saturdays and that payment should have been processed. Bastards.
